Welcome to Italian 101. In this course you will be able to learn how to speak, hear, read (sometime even sing!), and understand the Italian language. You will also learn about Italian cultures. This course focuses on you and the development of your language skills and cultural knowledge. It’s communicative and student centered, meaning, you and your peers will do the majority of the speaking, listening, and idea generating. Class time is devoted to your skill acquisition, while the time you spend on homework outside of the classroom is designed to reinforce your grammar.
