Captioning Your Meeting Recording

Live In-Meeting Captions:

If you have students with accommodation that need to have live captions during your meeting, please contact Student Disability Support Services. www.morgan.edu/sdss Links to an external site..  They will arrange for your Zoom host account to include the live captioning service.

Edit Captions on your Zoom Recordings - ADA Required!

Thanks to Panopto, your recorded video will already be captioned.  But even though Panopto's captioning process is usually pretty accurate, it's not perfect.  So it's a good idea to check the accuracy of the captions.

You can do this by accessing the video in your Panopto Video menu area in your Canvas course. Click to start playing the video, and then click the CC icon at the bottom of the player.

 

If you need to adjust any of the captions, hover your mouse over the listing for the video, and click EDIT.

Select CAPTIONS from the left-side menu

 

You can then edit any of the captions.

You can also use any of the other EDIT functions while still in the editor.

Click APPLY when finished to save your changes.
